Arguably one of the most popular restaurants on Tybee Island, the Crab Shack is the perfect causal place to go if you are looking for fresh shellfish. As the name suggests, they have several different crab offerings, including Dungeness crab, snow crab, Alaskan King crab, Deviled crab, and more.
In addition to crab, they also have the low country boil a dish with shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes – a must have when in the South. Try their ‘Snow Country Boil,’ with snow crab. You won’t be disappointed!
If you are looking for a place to grab breakfast, you can’t beat the Breakfast Club. Make sure to get there early as they close at 12:30pm. Enjoy an old school traditional Southern breakfast with staples like chicken fried steak and grits.
While the line may be long, it moves pretty quickly. This family-owned restaurant is perfect for a quick bite before you walk down to the beach.

If you feel adventurous, try the shrimp n ribs dinner. If you want something more classic, you can’t go wrong with their shrimp and hush puppies.
Bubba Gumbo’s has an ideal location: right along Lazaretto Creek. You can enjoy seeing wildlife in the marsh while you enjoy your dinner.
