The Space

Pull up to the space through the quiet alleyway access. Park immediately in front of the garage or pull inside. Take the service door up the staircase to the comfortable studio. Atop the stairs enough is a well-laid out, open studio that lives larger than it is. Find a fully equipped kitchen along the center of the room providing a full appliance package, including a cabinet washer/dryer combination. Enjoy everything you need to cook, including pots, pans, dishware, utensils, and more. Find a table height bar table along the central space that provides dining for two or a dedicated workspace if required. A smart TV hangs above, ready to stream your favorite entertainment, while a small love sofa at the end of the bed provides a comfortable place to cozy up at the end of the day. At the back of the space is a comfortable queen mattress drawer nightstand providing additional storage, and the unit has a single bathroom. Find a single vanity and low-entry shower encased in glass in the bathroom. The bathroom is outfitted with all the necessities, including towels, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. Enjoy a shared courtyard with the primary house by heading back downstairs and using the second service door from the garage. A brick-laid patio, privacy fencing, and comfortable patio furniture make it a great place to soak up the Savannah sun.

Guest Access

The entire place is set up for your use. The only "shared" space is in the courtyard, which the owner and her guests from the front house use it from time to time. It's unlikely you will run into them :)

Neighborhood

Ideally located in the East Victorian District, you will be in the heart of historic Savannah and centrally located to all the incredible eats, drinks, and sights Savannah has to offer. From your door, the southern portion of Forsyth Park is just a 4-minute walk. On your way, grab a delicious cup of coffee at the Sentient Bean or Alexander’s Bistro, featuring fair trade coffee and lattes. Need a breakfast bite to start your day? Pick up some great American-style breakfast with a retro feel at Betty Bombers Diner. Looking for a sandwich and a pint? Stroll on down to the Black Rabbit, a small yet incredible sandwich shop by day and pub by night. Need a taco fix? Try out Bull Street Tacos for scratch-made Mexican dishes. Looking for fine dining and a great vibe? Head on over to Local 11 Ten and their chic rooftop bar and lounge known as The Perch. Enjoy handcrafted cocktails and delicious dishes. The Perch is open year-round and features gas heaters for cooler winter days. Take an adventure outside of just the neighborhood by visiting one of Savannah’s many museums. Mercer-William’s House Museum, Savannah African Art Museum, American Prohibition Museum, and many more are just minutes away. Tap into Savannah's artistic nature by stopping into its College of Art and Design Museum of Art.  Want to get more hands-on and make some memories? Try blowing glass at Hostess City Hot Glass; it's a perfect time for the whole family. Not enough time to walk all the sights of Savannah? Take it all in at once while riding or biking. We are just minutes from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Savannah Bike Tours. Check out the city’s skyline from the water by jumping on one of the Savannah Belle’s ferries, with multiple stops all along Savannah’s riverfront.

Other things to note

Absolutely no parties. No animals whatsoever.  Only the number of guests listed on the reservation is permitted at the property. No illicit activities, peddling, or soliciting are allowed on the property. Do not smoke on the property or near the home. Clean up all smoke butts. Must be 21 years of age to drink alcohol. Report all damaged property to the property owner immediately. Treat the apartment with respect, as if it were your own property.

Getting Around

Are you driving into town? The unit provides secure parking inside the single garage space. Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and Uber/Lyft service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Abercorn and Henry SB just a 1-minute walk from the home. This free DOT trolley circulates downtown and provides ample stops at all the major attractions. Want more options? Download the city’s local version of Uber called “The Downtowner.” Simply download the app, and they will pick you up for free!
