The Space

Tucked away in the historic YWCA building the condo provides you with a sleek industrial-inspired design and décor that is fun, relaxing, and comfortable. Enter the condo using your key code and keypad and step right into the main living space. Your eyes will be immediately drawn up to the high ceiling featuring remarkable exposed industrial-grade wood trusses. Here you will find comfortable tufted furniture, a flared desk, and a brand-new TV with Hulu+.

At the back of the living room step through beautiful French doors to enter the main ensuite featuring a brand-new platform king bed with crisp linens and plush pillows. Exposed beams, raised ceilings, and sleek end tables create a comfortable and unique space that is accentuated by the natural light pouring in from the large windows. A private bathroom is connected to the main suite featuring a shower/tub combination, single vanity, fresh towels, body wash, and shampoo.

The living space flows directly into a large kitchen boasting custom stainless-steel cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a raised center island with seating for four, and a dining table for four. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook including cooking utensils, a knife set, pots and pans, and small appliances including a coffee maker and toaster.  

Off the side of the kitchen is the second bedroom and bathroom along with an in-unit stackable washer and dryer.  In the bedroom enjoy high ceilings and large windows filling the room with natural light. The bedroom features a queen mattress with comfortable linens and soft pillows. The bathroom is complete with an oversized vanity with plenty of counter space, a step-in shower, and wall storage. Body wash and shampoo provided.

Guest Access

There is an elevator on the bottom floor for your convenience :) You have access to the rear courtyard off the back of the lobby area if you'd like to sit outside and have a smoke, etc. Be courteous to your neighbors this entire building is run by a condo association.

Neighborhood

The loft is perfectly located to enjoy all that Savannah has to offer. Just around the corner from Chippewa Square, a 17-minute walk to Forsyth Park, and just an 11-minute walk to the riverfront you will find yourself in the heart of it all. Known for its hospitality, history, and incredible dining and pubs Savannah will wow you through your entire stay. Stroll over to Alligator Soul for fine southern dining or taste the southern flare at The Lady & Sons. Enjoy a Mexican dish at Tequila's Town Mexican or The Funky Brunch Café Java Burrito Company.  Looking for some great seafood? Check out Chart House down by the river. We are only a block and a half away from Collins Quarter (best breakfast/brunch) and Husk (excellent upscale dinner).

Spice up your nightlife by heading to Molly MacPherson’s Scottish pub for that perfect pint or check out Congress Street Social Club where you can enjoy live music, sports, and billiards.  

Take in the true essence of Savannah by stopping by the City Market, an 18th-century open-air market that has existed in Savannah since the 1700s. Enjoy four blocks of restaurants, shops, and more!

Experience the incredible history of Savannah by stopping by the Telfair Academy, an elegant, long-standing art museum, The American Prohibition Museum, Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, and many more, all just short walks from the loft.

Want to take it all in at once while riding or biking? We are just minutes away from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Savannah Bike Tours.

Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Drayton and Oglethorpe stop just a 2-minute walk from the loft. Try out the Savannah Belles Ferries to see the beautiful skyline of Savannah from the riverfront, with a stop right at the riverfront.

Other things to note

Absolutely no parties.

Only the number of guests listed on the reservation is permitted at the property.

No illicit activities, peddling, or soliciting are allowed on the property.

Do not smoke on the property or near the home. Clean up all smoke butts.

Must be 21 years of age to drink alcohol.

Report all damaged property to the property owner immediately.

Treat the apartment with respect, as if it was your own property.

 

CHECKING IN:

Airbnb will automatically send you check-in information 48 hours prior to your stay. In that check-in information, you will find step-by-step instructions, with pictures, for arriving at the property. Self-check-in using our smart door code allows you to check in any time after 4 pm.  Please message us if you have any trouble.

FOR CHECKOUT:

Check-out is at 10 am. Please do not be at the property after this time unless otherwise coordinated with the management team.

Wash all dishes you used during your stay and put them away.

Getting Around

Easiest way to get around is definitely walking. If you are not looking to get some exercise (totally understandable, it is vacation after all!) then taking Uber/Lyft is extremely easy and typically less than $5 to get around downtown. If you are bringing a car, please head to the city parking garage (Robinson Parking Garage is closest) - located at 132 Montgomery St.
